Swarakshetra is a non profit organization devoted to the promotion of Carnatic music in the Netherlands by providing training to students and organizing music concerts of prominent musicians.

The foundation was initiated with a vision to allow not only the Indian community to be in touch with their art and culture but also for the international community to learn, enjoy and appreciate our rich musical heritage.

 

We organized the first ever Thyagaraja music festival in the Netherlands in 2018 which was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India, His Excellency Mr Venu Rajamony. 

 

Stichting Swarakshetra offers training in Carnatic music by Smt Sreelakshmi Sriperumbuduri, a Carnatic music vocalist and teacher based in Amsterdam.
